Keen Yorkshire foodies can get up close and personal with Yves at a series of master classes being held at Cooks – the Carlton School of Food based at Carlton Towers near Selby.

Designed to help foodies take their cooking to the next level, enthusiasts inspired by Master Chef and the Great British Bake Off can learn time honoured techniques directly from Yves.

Those who love baking can choose from two courses on classical French patisserie  that Yves will be taking on 22 March  http://www.cooksatcarlton.co.uk/product/take-your-baking-to-the-next-level-french-patisserie-class/ and 26 April http://www.cooksatcarlton.co.uk/product/take-your-baking-to-the-next-level-french-patisserie-class2/

Yves will also teach a Game Cookery class on 16 February which will guide cooks through the making of game dishes from scratch and include techniques such as boning out animals to the making of a classical jelly for the terrines. http://www.cooksatcarlton.co.uk/product/game-cookery/

Says Yves: “Cooks is an impressive historic setting for people to come and discover more about the traditional gourmet flavours of France made using seasonal fresh produce from Yorkshire. And, best of all, the dishes can be taken home and shared.”

You can find out more information or make a booking on the courses either by following the website links or on the Cooks website –  www.cooksatcarlton.co.uk.
